Comprehensive Medical Tests

On-site x-ray

Broken bones, sprains, fractures. For many, an X-ray machine immediately comes to mind with these common injuries. But our full medical team uses X-ray machines for so much more – from breaks and dislocations to chest X-rays and kidney stones. With X-rays on site, at Peralta Urgent Care we can diagnose a wide array of illnesses and injuries and help identify the best treatment plan.

And if that persistent cough can’t wait or think you might have a broken bone or kidney stone, Peralta Urgent Care is open every day, with no appointment necessary, to help get you back to feeling good.

EKG

An EKG is a type of heart test. This test tracks the electrical activity in your heart and can detect potential problems, including heart attacks, inflammation of the heart, angina, and other conditions. Generally, an EKG should only be given if you’re experiencing symptoms or have certain risk factors. Otherwise, you could have to undergo unnecessary tests or medical procedures.

Below is a list of some people who may benefit from receiving an EKG. If you’re not sure, consult with a medical professional. You may need an EKG if:

  • You’ve suffered from a heart attack before
  • You’re experiencing chest pain
  • You have a family history of heart disease
  • You have diabetes, are a smoker, are overweight, or have other risk factors
